I am explaining the all the positions following by a test if you are applying that is. Do not send an application without a test any such application shall be ignored.
Cleaner
To be a cleaner you need to be proficient in Adobe Photoshop. The cleaner removes the text from the bubbles and makes all the background white. The cleaner should be able to retain as much as art detail possible from the manga page [scan].
A cleaner can also be a re-drawer provided you are skilled enough to remove the Japanese text from the art and redraw it. To know more about Re-Drawer read below.
Things needed:
Adobe Photoshop CS3 or higher.
To be a re-drawer you need to be proficient in Adobe Photoshop. The re-drawer removes the Japanese text from the art and redraws it. A re-drawer can usually redraw after raw page is cleaned or the raw page as it is.
A re-drawer uses pen, clone, and brush tools to redraw.
We usually look for skilled re-drawers who are fast and good enough.
Things needed:
Adobe Photoshop CS3 or higher.
A tablet to redraw like Wacom Bamboo tablet.
Translator
A translator translates the scanned mangas (Japanese Comics) or manhwas (Korean Comics), they should be proficient in translating. If you are applying for weekly manga translator you should be fast in translating.
Typesetter
To be a typesetter you need to have basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and how to insert texts in the empty bubbles. The typesetter should know how to have the text centrally aligned and should be creative in using various fonts needed.
A typesetter can also be a re-drawer provided you are skilled enough to remove the Japanese text from the art and redraw it. To know more about Re-Drawer read above.

Lots of fonts.
Proofreader
A proofreader should be good in UK English. English should be your native language. The proofreader usually edits the translated script. They have to check for grammar and spelling mistakes. Basic knowledge of Japanese language is a bonus.
